I love all things creative.

Over 15 years of fine art and design training has given me a sharp eye for detail. I came into the UX world after seeing the impact of what great design plus great functionality can do. I love figuring out how things work, and how people work while using those things.

My foundation started in fine art and has lead me to explore all aspects of design. This includes illustration, graphic design, culinary arts, and UX work. This untraditional path has given me the ability to be entrepreneurial in different fields while keeping true to my design roots.

I’ve led multiple process improvements and inceptions across UX/UI design initiatives. My favorite aspect of working in interaction design is communicating and creating relationships cross-functionally. I'm proactive about creating strong relationships with product and development teams, resulting in strong, successful products.

I’m also skilled in mentorship across graphic and UX design disciplines, and have lead many junior and mid-level designers throughout my career in UX. This includes refining design files, overseeing component libraries, and working together to solve complex UX problems.

I take inspiration from everywhere, check out my article for the UX Collective here and on Medium here.
